About WSET
The Wine and Spirit Education Trust provides industry-leading qualifications in wines since 1969. WSET has grown to become the global industry leader and international standard in wine and spirit education. These classes help develop comprehensive product knowledge and tasting skills, using the unique WSET Systematic Approach to Tasting (SAT).
The qualifications explore wines and wine-producing regions from all over the world. Currently, EAHM is offering WSET qualifications in Levels 1 and 2. All WSET certifications are delivered in partnership with the Burj Al Arab Hotel. The multi-sensorial experience takes place at the iconic hotel, with a professional qualification awaiting you at the end in the form of a WSET certificate and signature lapel pin.
Level 1
A beginner-level introduction to wine is suitable for those starting a wine career or pursuing an interest in wine.
For individuals new to wine study, this qualification provides a hands-on introduction to the world of wine. You’ll explore the main types and styles of wine through sight, smell, and taste, while also gaining the basic skills to describe wines accurately and make food and wine pairings.
Course Fee: AED 1,480 (exclusive of 5% VAT)
Course Timing: 09:00 - 18:00 (includes lunch)

Level 2
A beginner to intermediate-level qualification exploring wines, suitable for industry professionals and wine enthusiasts.
This qualification is intended for those wishing to learn about a wide range of wines or those seeking to build on the introductory knowledge gained with the WSET Level 1 Award in Wines. You do not need any pre-requisite to pursue Level 2. You’ll gain knowledge of the principal and regionally important grape varieties of the world, the regions in which they are grown, and the styles of wine they produce.
The course schedule for Level 2 is delivered over 3 consecutive Saturdays.
