Dubai, July 5, 2024 – The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management (EAHM) had the privilege of hosting His Highness Sheikh Dr. Majid bin Sultan Al Qassimi on July 3rd for an enlightening lecture on food security, a part of the EAHM course "Consumer Health and Well-being" taught by Instructor Francis Saliba.
Sheikh Dr. Majid Al Qassimi, a veterinarian and Managing Partner at SOMA MATER, shared profound insights into global and UAE-specific dimensions of food security. Highlighting the UAE's National Food Security Strategy, he proposed sustainable solutions to agricultural challenges and emphasised the critical role of the HORECA sector in ensuring food security.
